a large picture of JC in the front of the room, he has Bible verses on the walls and regularly voices his doubts
about evolutionary theory during class.

Mid eastern cultures found it acceptable to wipe with their left hand (why the left the right
would be disgusting). The method is often still practiced in India among some today.
So maybe the Jews in the wilderness used this method, but they never use the left hand to cook.
